Atmosfir is an innovative, advanced air monitoring Technology Company focused on providing our clients with the best air monitoring solutions. Atmosfir is a technology-oriented company, with unique and valuable intellectual properties and years of in-the-field experience. Our leadership team includes some of the worlds most recognized and respected air measurement scientists. For over fifteen years our experts have been actively involved in the development of U.S. EPA test methods and have been involved in designing and implementing numerous Optical Remote Sensing measurement campaigns.

Gilad Shpitzer, CEO

Gilad Shpitzer was born and raised in Jerusalem. Graduated with a master's degree from the Hebrew University. Has more than 20 years of experience in the field of air pollutant  measurements, from source sampling, analytical laboratories to remote sensing. In this field, Gilad is the co-founder and CEO of Atmosfir Optics and A.S. Research Services. 
Gilad was a member of the board committee of the Israeli Ecological Society and will be glad to share his vast experience.

Dr. Robert Kagann, Senior Scientist

Dr. Robert Kagann is the Senior Scientist of Atmosfir Optics since 2009. He holds a Ph.D from the University of Colorado, Department of Physics and Astrophysics and more than 40 years of experience in the field of spectral measurements and analysis. He worked in various companies in the field, developing data reduction algorithms and spectral measurements by FTIR and other open-path spectroscopic sensors. He also provided design and analytical support for various EPA, DOD and DOE environmental projects.

Dr. Yael Etzion, CTO

Dr. Yael Etzion is the CTO of Atmosfir Optics since 2016. She holds a Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the Technion-IIT, and an MSc focused on FTIR measurements in the MID-IR. Has more than 15 years experience in data analysis and modeling and deployment of optical sensors in environmental and dynamic media for real-time remote monitoring and detection.

In charge of developing and improving analysis tools in Atmosfir’s D-fenceline systems, implementation of further spectral and spatial analysis capabilities. Supervises the design of experiments and field deployments, the scientific review of data results, and good technological practice.

Neomi Perel Nagy, QA Manager

Neomi Perel Nagy Graduated with a master's degree from the Hebrew University's Department of Earth Sciences. She works in the field of air measurements since 2005.

In charge and well experienced in laboratory accreditation and quality assurance. Believes in quality assurance and quality control professionally and as  way of life in general.
